Austrian Grand Prix

Red Bull Ring 26 - 28 June 2026

Red Bull Ring Grandstand and General Admission Guides

There are 10 different grandstands to choose from at the Austrian Grand Prix, held at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Of these grandstands only two are covered – the Start / Ziel stand and the Nord stand.

Below are my detailed guides to each grandstand. They include my tips on picking the best seats (and the seats to avoid), videos of the views from different seats, ticket information and more.

Alex’s top pick: T3 grandstand is without a doubt the best place to sit at the Red Bull Ring. The views are INCREDIBLE. Not only do you get a close up view of Turn 3, the best overtaking spot on the track, but you’re on top of a hill so have stunning, picturesque views across much of the circuit. But it sells out fast and is more pricey.

Austrian GP tickets

I have consistenly used Viagogo for my Formula 1 ticket over the last few seasons and have always have a great experience doing so. I bought my Dutch, Belgian and British GP tickets through them last year.

They always have a great selection of 1, 2 or 3-day Austrian Grand Prix tickets available, even if they’re sold out elsewhere. Plus you can usually find a bargain if you keep your eyes peeled in the days before the race weekend. They also have a very good ‘FanProtect guarantee’ which means your money and tickets are always safe, which is good for added peace of mind.
