I’m Alex. I started racing go-karts at 8 years old, winning numerous club level events across the UK. At the age of 11 I started driving real cars at the Under 17 Car Club, and by the age of 16 I had won my first race in a national sports car championship. Two years later I had won the championship outright. Twice.
Now, in 2023, I have been involved in the motorsport industry for over two decades. I’ve attended pretty much every race circuit in the UK either as a track day driver, racing competitor, instructor or spectator. I’ve worked in OEM automotive engineering and the performance aftermarket worlds.
I’ve travelled the world in the pursuit of motorsport, visiting some of the most famous race tracks in the UK, Europe and America.
I’ve been to countless F1 races, BTCC races and many international, national and club-level forms of motorsport events.
I love writing and oversteer48.com is the perfrect place for me to be able to share my knowledge and experience.
But really I love nothing more than driving a car over and above its limits, as you can see me do on the Camber and Combustion YouTube channel via the links above. Plus some other links to my personal profiles.
