Qatar GP concert headliners
As well as the on-track action during the Formula 1 weekend at the Lusail International Circuit there will be live music from artists each of the three days. The headliners will take to the stage at the end of each evening once the racing has finished.
The headliners for this year’s event haven’t yet been announced. But when they are, this page will be updated.
Last year, the headline performers at the Qatar GP were:
- Seal
- Cheb Khaled
- Metallica
Timetable
The timings for the concerts are usually a little bit flexible and depend on when the track action finishes. Usually the music begins around 30 minutes to 1 hour after the track activity finishes, and a little more after the Grand Prix to allow time for the podium and celebrations.
Based on this year’s session times, here are the likely start times for the music on each of the three days:
- Friday – FP2 finishes at 9pm, music likely to start around 10pm
- Saturday – Qualifying finishes at 10pm, music likely to start around 11pm
- Sunday – Race due to finish around 8.30pm, music likely to start around 10pm
Concert gate opening times
To get in to the concert venue you have to go through a seperate set of gates. Last year these opened at the following times:
- Friday – 8:30pm
- Saturday – 8:30pm
- Sunday – 8pm
If you want to get close to the stage, getting there early when the gates open will help.
Stage location
The Lusail Live stage holds the concerts. This is actually located outside of the circuit, and you can access it via the main Fan Zone. You can see the location of the stage on the bottom right of the map below, shown as Concert Arena.
The stage is actually quite well located for leaving the venue afterwards – it’s fairly close to the carparks and also to the point where the shuttle picks up for the Metro.
Concert Tickets
To access the Qatar GP concerts you need to show your Formula 1 ticket at the concert entry gates.
