Lando Norris has gone on a chicken shop date with Amelia Dimoldenberg. The usually confident F1 driver went all shy when faced with Amelia’s no-nonsense flirting.

Amelia Dimoldenberg has been going on Chicken Shop dates for years now. Her search for love in the fast food joints has become an internet sensation.
The dates, a very loose form of interview, involve some very to-the-point flirting and often bring her guest’s guards down, giving us the chance to see a whole new side of them. The videos of the dates on her YouTube channel have now racked up hundreds of millions of views.
As she has become more popular she’s had the chance to interview some of the world’s biggest celebrites. She’s shared chicken nuggests with Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds and even Cher, to name a few of her biggest daters.
But until now, she’d never gone on a date with a Formula 1 driver.

Looking for love Lando?
Amelia invited Lando on a date in a chicken shop of her choosing in March 2024. For each date she goes to a real fast food joint, usually a different one. The location of the link-up with Lando was Sam’s Chicken in Harlesden. A no-frills, unsuspecting chicken shop that was about to be the scene for some internet gold.
When Lando’s in front of the camera giving interviews on the Formula 1 stage he’s usually confident and assured in what he says. But Amelia, with her direct flirting and no-nonsense search of love, has a way of making the most hardy personalities get a little flustered.
This is exactly what she does to Lando. Never before have we seen him so shy, so giggly and perhaps even so embarassed at some of her to-the-point questions.

Amelia doesn’t mess around with niceties. She get’s straight in to it, asking why Lando doesn’t follow her on social media. He says that he does follow her now, but Amelia says she didn’t realise because she’s just playing hard to get.
She also demonstrates a commendable knowledge of Formula 1, reminding Lando that the old V10 F1 cars were much louder much loved. Lando can’t hide his surprise.
The date took place a couple of months before Lando scored his first F1 win at the Miami Grand Prix in May 2024. Before then, Lando had gone 6 years in the sport without a victory and Amelia couldn’t help getting a dig in about that.
But she does make up for it by awarding him his very own trophy, not for winning an F1 race but for being the first Formula 1 driver to go on a date with her.
