Lando Norris was subjected to the Sky Sports F1 Lie Detector test, and was asked some pretty juicy questions whilst connected up to the machine.
Questions like “have you got many girlfriends?”, “are you the best British F1 driver” and “did Oscar winning the Qatar Sprint race p*ss you off?” give just a small hint at how tasty some of the questions were.
Lie detector
Sky Sports F1 have slowly been making their way around a number of Formula 1 drivers to put their honesty to the test under the watchful eye of the lie detector. Simon Lazenby is the quizmaster-come-interrogator, with his right-hand man Russ sat behind the computer checking whether the driver is telling the truth or not after each question.
They’ve already interrogated other top drivers like Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Oscar Piastri.
Lewis was asked some pretty spicy questions like “have you ever lied to Toto?” in which he responsed “No” and was, thankfully for him, telling the truth. He also answered with a “no” when asked if he ever watches Love Island or The Kardashians, but that time he wasn’t being so truthful.
Now it was time for Lando to enter ‘The Den’, connect up to the probes and to be put to the test.

The questions
Simon Lazenby did not hold back on the questioning. He started off easy, just to check the machine was working. Then he got in to the good stuff.
Here’s the list of questions he asked Lando on the lie detector test:
- Do you live in Monaco?
- Do you drive for Mclaren?
- Do you have a girlfriend?
- Do you have many girlfriends?
Those last two questions were extra juicy, given all the rumours circulating about who Lando is currently dating. The questions went on:
- Are you the best British F1 driver?
- Do you swell with excitement when you see Ted Kravitz?
- Is Ted’s Notebook the best show on TV?
- Will you win a race in 2024?
That previous question was oh so poignant. Lando took this test in the first few months of the year, shortly before he took his maiden win at the Miami Grand Prix. His manifestaton came true.
Simon Lazenby’s questioning went on:
- Have you ever glued your hand to your body?
- Would you still want to race for McLaren if they halved your salary?
- Have you ever peed in the F1 car?
- Do you ever look in the mirror and think ‘damn I’m gorgeous’?
- Did it p*ss you off when Oscar won the Qatar sprint race?
- Are you a better all-round sportsman than Oscar?
- Have you ever laughed so hard you **** yourself?
After asking that last question Lando proceeded to laugh hard, at which point Simon asked “are you doing it now?”.
More questions followed:
- Have you ever had an imaginary friend?
- Is it true you had a poster of Alex Albon on your wall?
- Have you ever used your fame to get a restaurant reservation?
- Have you got a tatoo?
- Could you beat George Russell in a fist fight?
- Could you beat Alex Albon in a fist fight?
- Have you ever taken your trousers all the way down to pee in a public urinal?
- Will you be F1 world champion one day?
- Will it be with McLaren?
