Monza Grandstand 10 BIS Lesmo 2 Interno

Grandstand 10 BIS Lesmo 2 Interno is on the inside (right-hand side) of the fast right hand corner of Turn 7 which is called Lesmo 2, hence the name of the grandstand – Lesmo 2 Internal.

Being on the inside of the corner has its disadvantages as your view is very limited. See the sections lower down for some examples.

The images below show the location of this grandstand:

This grandstand is very close to entrance gate D which is only a 10 minute walk away. But if you get one of the shuttle bus services to the circuit they’ll drop off near Gate G which is the other side of the track. So expect to walk for over 50 minutes to get from gate G to this stand.

Unfortunately the F1 fanzone is also a long way away, close to Turn 10. It’s roughly a 40 minute walk to get there.

Grandstand details

Cover

This grandstand is uncovered, so you will be in the heat of the Italian sun all day long. Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather.

Seats

The seats are individual plastic chairs.

TV screens

There’s one TV screen visible from this stand. It’s directly opposite on the other side of the track, and is easy to see. In addition to the image below, the videos lower down this page show where the screen is.

Monza Grandstand 10BIS Tickets

This is one of the cheapest grandstands at Monza for the Italian Grand Prix, so it can sell out. If that’s the case don’t worry, you can still buy tickets through ViaGoGo. They will have a good selection of tickets available to purchase right up until the Grand Prix itself.

I’ve used Viagogo for  my Formula 1 tickets lots of times times over the last few seasons. I’ve used them to buy my tickets to the British, Belgian, Dutch GP and Las Vegas GP. I’ve always had a great experience buying through them and have no hesitations about doing so again next time I go to an F1 race.

They also have a ‘FanProtect Guarantee’ which protects your money and your tickets, and that has always given me extra peace of mind when buying.

Monza Grandstand 10BIS Lesmo 2 Interno seating plan

Below is the seating chart for Grandstand 10BIS Lesmo 2 Interno at Monza. It is a big image file, a bit too big to host on this page. So if you enter your info in to the boxes below and press send it’ll be sent straight to your email inbox.

Grandstand 10BIS has Row A lowest down at the front and Row G highest up at the back. Seat numbers start at 1 on the left of the stand (if you’re standing on the circuit looking up at the grandstand) and increase as you move to the right.

View

The image below shows the parts of Monza circuit you’ll be able to see from this stand highlighted in green:

As the map shows your vision is very limited to the entry, apex and exit of Turn 7. And this is the biggest negative of this grandstand, the view isn’t that great.

Because the stand is on the inside of the corner looking outwards, you don’t get to see much other than the cars quickly flashing through the corner from left to right. The videos below provide examples of this:

This video was filmed from Row C (the third row from the front). As you can see, you only have visibility of the F1 cars for what feels like a split second, especially because it’s a fast right hander and the cars are moving through it very quickly:

And here’s another view showing the same thing. To be honest you’ll spend most of your time watching the TV screen opposite:

Best seats

If you go for the front row Row A in the highest seat number possible (seat 51 is the highest) you can get a little bit more of a view to the left of the cars approaching Lesmo 2, but it’s marginal.

Is this a good place to sit?

This would probably be the last grandstand I’d choose at Monza. Your view is very limited, so the only benefit of getting a ticket here is that you know you have a reserved seat for the weekend and won’t have to fight for space in the General Admission areas.

Grandstand 34 will provide a better view of the first Lesmo corner.
