George Russell was recently spotted behind the wheel of his Mercedes-AMG ONE hypercar on the streets of Monaco during a break between the Saudi Arabian and Miami Grand Prix.
The car has been custom-built for the Mercedes F1 driver and features his racing number, 63, prominently on the exterior. It can be seen in the image above on the front of the gull-wing doors. George has also put a private plate on his car ’63OG’, again in reference to his racing number that he’s used since he started go-karting as a child.
Alongside George was Alex Albon, Williams F1 driver, who Georgeinvited to sit in the driver’s seat to get a feel for the car. Russell then took him for a short drive around the streets of Monte Carlo.
Russell’s girlfriend, Carmen Montero Mundt, was also seen standing next to the car.

The Mercedes-AMG ONE is one of the most advanced road cars ever built by the brand. It’s powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 hybrid engine derived directly from Mercedes’ F1 power unit, combined with four electric motors. Together, they produce 1,063 horsepower. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 352 km/h (218 mph).
Originally priced at around $2.7 million, its value has already increased significantly, with some examples now selling on the second-hand market for over $5.4 million due to its extreme rarity and connection to Mercedes’ F1 technology. Only 275 units were produced, all of which have been sold.
Russell has spoken about his love for cars on various platforms, and in a recent podcast he revealed his dream 3-car garage: the AMG ONE, a classic Mercedes 300SL, and a Mercedes G-Wagon. With the AMG ONE now in his possession, he’s one step closer to completing that list.
Russell, who lives in Monaco like many F1 drivers, is coming off a solid start to the 2025 season. He’s consistently reached Q3 in qualifying, scored a number of podiums and finished in the top five in all races, showing strong pace in the Mercedes W15.
Albon has been scoring well this year and alongside his new teammate Carlos Sainz has helped Williams to its best start in 9 years; 25 points after just 5 races.
