Lando Norris was recently spotted driving the latest addition to his incredible car collection around the streets of Monaco.
His new purchase is one of the most iconic Porsche supercars ever made, and Lando has had his finished in a one-off colour scheme.
Lando's car collection
Driving Formula 1 cars for a living means that most normal road cars just aren’t going to cut it for a F1 driver like Lando. Thanfully for him, his hefty salary means that he has more than a few quid spare to spend on some pretty extraordinary cars.
His collection is surely one of the finest on the Formula 1 grid, and it includes some cars that you probably wouldn’t expect a world-class racing driver to own. These include his one-off, custom built Retro Defenders Land Rover Defender.

The bespoke Land Rover was built specifically for Lando to his own specifications. It doesn’t have a roof but it does have a windscreen that folds down. He’s already been spotted driving it around the streets of Monte Carlo.
If the Defender isn’t whacky enough, then check out the car he used as his daily driver for a while in Monaco. A Fiat 500 Jolly recreation.

As expected, Lando does also own some high-performance road cars. Being a driver for the Mclaren F1 team, it’s no surprise that one of those is one of the most powerful road-going performance cars that Mclaren produce, a 765LT Spider.
This one in particular was customised for Lando by Mclaren Special Operations (MSO), giving it a bespoke paint job and interior design for their F1 driver.

If that wasn’t cool enough, Lando recently added something even more special to his fleet. One of the most beautiful supercars ever produced, a Lamborghini Miura.
To make this stunning car even more special, Lando’s was customised with a bespoke dark blue paint job and orange interior. Ever seen a better looking car?

And now Lando’s added another iconic car to his collection. Could it be his finest choice yet?
Lando's Porsche Carrera GT
During the F1 summer break, Lando was spotted for the first time in his new car. A Porsche Carrera GT painted in a custom dark green.

The Carrera GT was built in the early 2000s. It has a 5.7 litre natrually aspirated V10 engine, derived from the Formula ONE V10 engines of the time. Fitted to the Porsche, this is one of the finest sounding road car engines ever made. The V10 produces over 600bhp and was capable of propelling the Carrera GT to a top speed in excess of 200mph.
Being RWD and manual it has a reputation for being a tricky car to drive with spikey handling characteristics. It’s the car which the legendary Fast and Furious actor Paul Walker was killed in as a passenger.
Lando’s particular model has been painted in a custom colour. It’s ‘McLaren XP green’ matched to a tan interior, and is perhaps one of the most stunning versions of the Carerra GT ever seen. Lando, it seems, has incredible taste when it comes to his road cars.
In the Instagram images above, Lando’s Porsche was spotted at Joe Macari, one of the most prestigious exotic car dealerships in the UK. Macari is also where he purchased his Miura.
When the Carrera GT was new they were priced at just over £300,000, and only 1,270 examples were built between 2004 and 2006. Now you have to pay more than that to buy one. A lot more. Infact, at the time of writing, Joe Macari has a standard silver one up for sale at an eye-watering £1.1 million.

Lando was spotted driving it to the Monte Carlo Casino in his home town of Monaco, a paradise for Formula 1 drivers.
Check out the video below where Lando makes his way through the crowds of people taking pictures of the F1 star with his stunning car, before jumping out and handing the keys to the valet.
