Lando Norris, like many other F1 drivers, lives in Monaco. The tax haven is home to the prestigious Monte Carlo Grand Prix and a high concentration of the world’s most expensive cars.
Norris has been spotted a few times recently driving his stunning classic car that turns heads constantly, even in a country where supercars are ten a penny.
Lando's cars
Being a driver for the McLaren F1 team has many perks. One of those is you get some of the coolest company cars around. Lando has been seen driving pretty much every supercar the Surrey-based team has produced, including the P1, 570S, 720S, 765LT, Artura and even the Elva.
But those cars, whilst impressive, aren’t particularly unique in Monaco. So Lando owns a couple of other things that aren’t going to be seen anywhere else.
One of those is his bespoke one-off Retro Land Rover Defender that he’s had custom made. The unique-drop top will certainly be a head turner on the streets of Monte Carlo.
Another car he owns is even more special. A Lamborghini Miura P400, arguably one of the most beautiful cars ever made. His is customised with a deep-blue paint job and bright orange seats, on top of gold wheels. It looks absolutely stunning. See more details on Lando’s Lambo here.
The multi-million dollar classic is an iconic car, and despite its value it seems Lando has been using it frequently to drive around the streets of Monaco.
In the video below, Lando was spotted entering the prestigious Monte Carlo Casino parking lot in his Lambo. This Casino is visited by some of the world’s highest rollers, and the car park is reserved for only the most special cars.
Lando didn’t look too happy about having to queue to get in, but his car stole the show.
In the next video, Lando was spotted driving his Miura around the Monaco Grand Prix circuit right before the F1 weekend.
It doesn’t get much cooler than that; a Formula 1 driver taking a friend for a ride in his multi-million dollar classic Lamborghini on the very street that will be closed to allow him to race on it in a few day’s time.
Next, Lando was once again spotted entering the Casino car park, this time at night. You can see he hands the car keys over to the Valet parking attendant and spends a bit of time explaining to him where the controls are to turn the lights off.
Finally, Lando was spotted grabbing some shopping in his Lamborghini. That’s the ultimate rich-guy flex; why pop to the shops in your economical, frugal run-around when you could drive there in your Miura? F1 driver life!
No doubt we’ll see Lando cruising the streets of Monaco again soon in one of his many cars. Maybe next time he’ll be taking some rubbish to the dump in his drop-top Land Rover. Or maybe not.
