The 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix takes place from Friday 6th to Sunday 11th November at the Interlagos circuit.

This guide provides details of the full Brazil GP schedule across all three days. 

It lists where and when the Formula 1 will be aired on TV and what times the practice, qualifying and race sessions will start in a number of different time zones across the world.

2026 Brazil GP dates

The 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix weekend starts on Friday the 6th November and finishes on Sunday the 8th November.

The Brazilian Grand Prix takes place at Autódromo José Carlos Pace, otherwise known as Autódromo de Interlagos or just Interlagos as it’s most commonly called. This circuit is in the Brazilian city of São Paulo.

Brazil Grand Prix race weekend format

The 2026 Brazil Grand Prix will be a normal race weekend, no sprint.

Below is the format and length of each of the different Formula 1 sessions during the Brazil F1 weekend:

Friday 6th November:

  • Free Practice 1 (60 mins)
  • Free Practice 2 (60 mins)

Saturday 7th November:

  • Free Practice 3 (60 mins)
  • Qualifying session – Q1 / Q2 / Q3 (60 mins)

Sunday 8th November:

  • Grand Prix (71 laps or 120 mins)

2026 Brazil F1 qualifying time

Qualifying for the 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix will take place at 15:00 (3pm) local time on Saturday 7th November and will last for a total of 60 minutes.

Qualifying will be split in to three separate parts – Q1, Q2 and Q3. 

All drivers will take part in Q1. Of those, only the fastest 15 will progress to Q2. Only the 10 fastest drivers from Q2 will then move on to Q3 which will be the final 10 minute shootout for pole position.

2026 Brazil Grand Prix start time

The 2026 Brazil GP will start at 14:00 (2pm) local time on Sunday 8th November. The Grand Prix will last for either 71 laps or 120 minutes, whichever is shorter.

What time is the Brazil F1 race in my country?

What channel is the Brazil GP on?

UK fans will be able to watch live footage of the Brazilian Grand Prix on the Sky Sports F1 channel. You need a paid subscription to do this, however. Pre-race build up usually starts about 90 minutes prior to the official Grand Prix start time.

Race highlights will be available for free on Channel 4 late in the evening on Sunday 8th November.

Brazil F1 support races

As well as the Formula 1 there will be other on-track motorsport activity across the weekend. This will include the support races’ practice, qualifying and race sessions.

For 2026 the support series of the Brazilian Grand Prix are:

  • Porsche Carrera Cup Brazil
  • Porsche Sprint Challenge Brazil
