Mark Wahlberg is hosting one of the most exclusive VIP parties during the Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend.

For nearly $100,000 you can have ‘one of the best views in Vegas’ of the Formula 1 action from this rooftop venue.

Mark Wahlberg's F1 history

Mark Wahlberg may be one of the biggest names in Hollywood, but he’s no stranger to the world of Formula 1.

Wahlberg is an investor in the Italian fashion footwear company P448 who are a lead sponsor of the AlphaTauria F1 team.

He also worked with F1 and co-star Tom Holland to promote his 2022 movie Uncharted.

Mark Wahlberg produced the below video, comparing the intesne rivalry of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton fighting for the 2021 F1 championship to the relationship between Mark and Tom’s characters in the movie.

Now, Wahlberg is set to host one of the most exclusive parties on the Vegas strip when Formula 1 arrives in Sin City for the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November 2023.

Drai's Nightclub

Drai’s nightclub is one of the hottest nightlife venues in Las Vegas. It’s located on the rooftop of the  The Cromwell hotel, right on the Las Vegas Strip, and often sees huge artists such as Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and French Montana perform live.

The Crowell is one of the most exclusive Las Vegas hotels during the F1.

This rooftop venue will have almost unrivalled views of the F1 race as it directly overlooks the Las Vegas F1 track layout.

It’s right on the edge of Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) where the cars will pass at full-throttle between turns 13 and 14. It’s also directly opposite the spectacular Bellagio fountains.

For the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Drai’s have partnered with the McLaren F1 team to hold an exclusive party called Vista Las Vegas across all three days of the Formula 1 event.

Vista Las Vegas

Mark Wahlberg will be hosting the Vista Las Vegas party and will be in attendance for all three days of the race weekend.

In a promo video for the event, Wahlberg says:

I’m going to be hosting the McLaren Vista F1 race weekend right here at Drai’s rooftop, the best view in all of Vegas.”

In addition to the Hollywood superstar there’ll be world-famous DJs and artists, plus the ex-Formula 1 driver David Coulthard will be providing live commentary to the party-goers.

World-class food and drink will be complimentary, and you’ll be rubbing shoulders with some of F1 and Vegas’ elite.

Tickets

If you want access to this exclusive party during the F1 race in Vegas, then it’s going to cost you. You can either buy individual day tickets, or a 3-day weekend pass.

Prices for individual day tickets cost the following:

  • Thursday (Practice sessions): $895 per person
  • Friday (Practice & qualifying): $1,745 per person
  • Saturday (Race): $3,495 per person

Considering seats in some of the Las Vegas F1 grandstands can cost over $2000, those single-day Vista Las Vegas tickets aren’t actually bad value. And you don’t get Mark Wahlberg hosting you in the grandstands.

3-day tickets for the party at Drai’s are more expensive:

  • Thursday, Friday & Saturday: $5,495 person

It doesn’t stop there.

There are two other 3-day VIP options that come with private screens, your own personal host and drink upgrades which will cost much, much more:

  • VIP Private Bungalow for 10 people: $64,500
  • VIP private cabana for 12 people: $89,400

Yep, you read that right. Almost $100,000 to watch an F1 race. Whilst that’s not quite the million-dollar Wynn Las Vegas F1 package, it’s still Formula 1 cashing in on the Las Vegas high-life.

There’s a whole host of other parties and nightlife during the Las Vegas F1 weekend that are much more afforable, if shelling out tens of thousands of dollars isn’t your thing.
