Miami F1 Grandstand and General Admission Guides

Miami International Autodrome offers visitors grandstand or general admission ‘Campus Pass’ tickets, along with VIP options.

The general admission viewing isn’t particularly great at this track which is based in the carpark of the Hard Rock Stadium. There’s a few slightly raised platforms to stand on trackside which give a partially elevated view, but evn then it’s not that great. Grandstands are a much better option.

Below I’ve written complete guides to the different grandstands and the campus pass tickets. In this I give my tips on the best places to sit (or stand), plus there’s videos showing examples of the views. Check these out before booking.

Alex’s top pick:

My personal favourite place to sit is the Turn 1 North grandstand, especially in sections T1-1 to T1-4 and ideally in rows 20 and up. That gives you a great view of the start / finish straight, the first corner where most of the overtaking and action happens on the track, plus turns 2 and 3.

The higher rower also means you’re in the shade and you might catch some pitlane action.

Miami GP tickets

I have consistently used Stubhub for my F1 tickets over the last few seasons, including for my trips to the Dutch, Las Vegas and Belgian GPs, and have always had a great experience using them.

They always have a great selection of 1, 2 or 3 day Miami Grand Prix tickets for sale, even if they’re sold out elsewhere. Plus you can usually find a bargain if you wait until the last few days before the race weekend when prices tend to drop. And, they have a very s strong ‘FanProtect guarantee’ which means your money and tickets are always going to be safe – great for extra peace of mind!
