Spa Francorchamps Grandstand and General Admission Guides
There are more than 20 different grandstands to choose from at the Belgian Grand Prix, held at the Spa Francorchamps circuit in the stunning Ardennes forest. Additionally there’s the Bronze General Admission areas that offer cheaper viewing.
To help you decides on which tickets you want, I’ve put together guides for every grandstand and the general admission areas. These include my tips on picking the best seats in each grandstand (and the seats you should avoid), videos of the views from different places, ticket information and more.
Alex’s top pick: The Gold 3 grandstand is without a doubt the best place to sit at Spa Francorchamps. It’s right up the top of Eau Rouge / Raidillon and has absolutely stunning views of the first few corners of the circuit. Plus, if you get the higher rows, you can see over to the chicane at the end of the lap. Wherever you sit in this stand you have a picturesque panorama of the incredible scenery. It’s also got a roof, so it’s covered. Can’t go wrong.
When I went to the Belgian GP I bought my tickets through Viagogo. I had a great experience using their platform and have since done so again for my tickets to other European F1 races.
They always have a great selection of 1, 2 or 3-day Belgian Grand Prix tickets available, right up to the last minute, even if they’re sold out elsewhere. Plus, if you wait until close to the race weekend like I did you can usually find a bargain as prices tend to drop nearer the date.
For extra peace of mind they also have a very robust ‘FanProtect guarantee’ which means your money and tickets are always safe.
