Silverstone Grandstand and General Admission Guides
There are 27 different grandstands to choose from at Silverstone for the F1 British Grand Prix. Some of these are covered, some are not.
For a cheaper option you can go for General Admission tickets, and Silverstone offers a number of different areas around the circuit to view from if you have one of these GA tickets.
Click the grandstands on the image above or the links below to read my guide to each grandstand and the general admission areas for my tips on picking the best seats, examples of the views, seating plans and more:
Top pick: Club Corner grandstand, seats in the 400 – 575 range in the higher rows (K and up) are the best seats at Silverstone. You get a view of Stowe, Vale, Club corners, plus all the way down the start / finish straight towards Abbey Corner. AND you’ll have an amazing view of the podium and start of the pit lane.
Cheaper pick: Copse D is a cheaper option and not that popular, but I loved the super high viewpoint here (go for the highest rows). The cheapest option is General Admission but it gets incredibly busy so get there super early on Sunday to get a decent spot, and the best area Vale is now GA+ sadly.
Prime View tickets – are they worth it? In my opinion no – as they are seats in the front 3 rows, that means you won’t be fully under the cover of the grandstand roof, and being lower gives a worse view. I’d stick with normal tickets in those stands and get higher rows.
I have consistently used Viagogo and StubHub for my F1 tickets, and have always had a great experience doing so.
They always have a great selection of 1, 2 or 3-day British Grand Prix tickets available, even when they’re sold out elsewhere. Plus you can often find a bargain, and they have a very robust ‘FanProtect guarantee’ which means your money and tickets are always safe, for added peace of mind.
