Grandstand location at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
Grandstand B is located on the outside (left-hand side) of the circuit at Turn 12. It’s adjacent to the much larger Grandstand G.
The grandstand is made up of a number of different zones, but is split in to three distinct sections that are angled slightly different as they follow the curve of the circuit.
Read more below in the seating plan and views sections for info on which zone is in which section of the stand, and how the view can different from different seats.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is in the municipality of Montmelo and hosts both the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix and the MotoGP Catalan Grand Prix.
Buy Grandstand B tickets for the F1 and MotoGP
Formula 1 tickets
This is one of the cheaper grandstands at the Spanish F1, despite the fact it has great views. Because of that, it’s popular and often sells out fast.
If you are trying to find reserved seat tickets for this grandstand then I’d recommend you buy your tickets on ViaGoGo, which is what I do. They always have tickets available right up until the last minute on the race weekend, and they have usually got lots of 1, 2 or 3 day ticket options available. Plus, you can often find them cheaper than the official list price.
MotoGP Catalunya tickets
If you’re going to the MotoGP instead of the F1 then you can also find tickets for that event on ViaGoGo.
I’ve used ViaGoGo to buy F1 and motorsport tickets a number of times over the last few seasons, including for my trip to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. I’ve always had a great exprience using their ticket platform and won’t hesistate to do so again.
They’ve also got a FanProtect guarantee for added peace of mind, which protects your tickets and money.

Seats
The seats in this grandstand are just fixed plastic chairs.

Cover
Tribuna B is completely uncovered so make sure you bring suitable protection from the sun. It faces East, so it’s likely you’ll get some sun on you in the morning but as the day progresses it should be behind you.
None of the grandstands that have a view of this section of the race circuit are covered, except for the T10 stand which is on the inside of the circuit near the entrance to Turn 10.
TV screens
There’s one TV screen visible from this stand. It’s off to the right hand side, so it’s closer for those people sat in the zones further to the right.

Seating plan
Below is the seating plan for Grandstand B at Circuit de Catalunya Barcelona:
The seating plan above shows that the grandstand is ma.lower areas have rows which go from Row F1 (front row) to Row F12, then the upper areas have rows that go from Row F13 to Row F24.
The seat numbers start from 1 at the beginning of each zone and increase from right to left when you’re sat in the stand looking at the track.
In this grandstand the higher rows give better views, as you’ll see in the next section
Views from the grandstand
The image below shows the parts of the track visible from this stand highlighted in pink.
As the image shows, from most parts of this stand you’ll have a view that starts just before Turn 10 and then goes all the way until just after Turn 13.
How much of that last part you can see depends on how high your row is, as the track drops away down hill after Turn 13. But even the front rows are raised up from ground level.
Here’s a look at the view from different seats in Grandstand B.
This first video was filmed from Zone 8 Row F14, right in the middle of the stand. It’s the second row back in the Upper area and gives a nice high vantage point to see the braking zone for Turn 10 and the exit of Turn 13.
This next video was filmed from Zone 3 Row F8, a little lower down and slightly further to the right hand side of the grandstand.
This next video shows the view of the MotoGP race from Zone 7 Row F18, further back in the stand:
And finally this 360 degree image shows the great view from between Zone 6 and Zone 7, Row F24 (the back row). The view from the back row is amazing, plus you can stand up and lean against the fence without bothering any one behind you.
Best seats in the grandstand
My personal choice would be seats in the middle Zones of Grandstand B, Zones 5 to 10. Then I’d try and get reserved seats in the highest row possible. Whilst being higher does mean you’re a little further from the track, it also gives you a wider (and better) vantage point.
