Grandstand location at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
Grandstand C is located on the outside (left-hand side) of Turn 13, the second to last corner at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya.
It’s a small grandstand, adjacent to the much larger Grandstand G. As the image below shows it’s made up of two distinct sections, angled slightly differently to each other. And remember – Turn 13 is now just a fast right hander at the Formula 1. They no longer use the chicane.
The Circuit de Barcelona is in the Montmelo municipality of Catalunya and hosts both the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix and the MotoGP Catalunya Grand Prix. This grand stand is a permanent fixture that’s available for both events.

Formula 1 tickets
This is only a small stand and because it offers pretty good views, it often sells out fast on the official site.
If that’s the case and you’re trying to find some reserved seat tickets for Grandstand C then I would recommend you buy your tickets on ViaGoGo, which is what I do when I go want tickets for an F1 race.
ViaGoGo always has a great supply of tickets available all the way up until the last minute during the race weekend. They have usually got plenty of of one, two or three day ticket options, plus you’ll often be able to find them cheaper than the official listed price.
MotoGP Catalunya tickets
You can also buy tickets for the MotoGP Catalunya on ViaGoGo:
I’ve used ViaGoGo to buy F1 and other motorsport tickets a number of times, including for my trips to the British GP at Silverstone and the Las Vegas Grand Prix. I’ve always had a great experience using their platform and won’t hesistate to do so again.
Their FanProtect guarantee also gives me added peace of mind that my tickets and money will be safe.

Seats
The seats in this stand are solid individual chairs.

Cover
Tribuna C is completely uncovered, so make sure you are prepared and protected from the sun. The stand faces South-East so you can expect to have the sun directly on you for most of the day.
TV screens
There are two TV screens that are visible from this grandstand, but both are quite far away which is one of the drawbacks of this stand. A pair of binoculars will definitely help you see the screen better!

Seating plan
Below is the Grandstand C seating plan for Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
As the seating plan above shows Tribuna C is made up of a number of different zones. Each zone is split in to an upper and a lower section.
The lower section has rows which start at Row F1 at the front and goes up to Row F12. The upper section has rows which go from Row F13 to Row F24.
Seat numbers start from 1 at the beginning of each of the zones, and increase from right to left (if you stand on the track and look up at the seats).
Views from the grandstand
This image shows the parts of the circuit visible from Grandstand C highlighted in pink:
As the image shows, you can see all the way from Turn 10 right down to the entry of the final corner Turn 14.
1:30 in the video below was filmed from between Zones 1 and 2, Row F17. This nice high seat gives a great view over everything from Turn 10 onwards. Seats in the lower section (Row F12 and below) would have a slightly restricted view of Turns 10 and 11:
This next video is filmed from Zone 6 Row F4 when the old chicane was still in use:
This 360 degree image shows the view from between Zones 2 and 3, Row F2:
And this was taken from Zone 7 Row 1, the furthest to the left you can get in the stand:
Best seats in the grandstand
I would definitely recommend higher seats in the upper section of all Zones, so Rows F13 and above. Even from the lowest zones you can see down towards Turn 14, so I’d probably go for Zone 1, 2 or 3 to have a slightly better view of Turn 12.
